Introduce the topic by asking students to think of three things they do every day. Give an example. Elicit some
answers and write them on the board.
Give one copy of the handout to each student. Demonstrate the first gap fill answer, emphasizing the change for
the third person. Students can work alone and check in pairs.
Ask a student to read the example question and answer. The students should make questions for all the other
answers. A hint is given with the bold text: this should show the students what kind of question is needed.
Do question one as another example. Students should work alone, and check in pairs. Monitor carefully, looking
for weak points to go over later.
Tip
There are many follow up exercises to this handout. Students could ask the same questions to each other, and
make notes on the answers. Finally, ask a few students to do a presentation on their partner's day.
